Strata:  Poorly sorted river bottom, adjacent to concreted gravel flood deposit.
Current Location:  Yamhill River Pleistocene Collection
Comment:  Bone fragment, partial distal epenthesis in evidence, tentative identification: horse metapodial. Heavily concreted with fine sand, silt, fine gravel consistent with adjacent flood deposit, which has yielded a small mammoth tooth plate and a partial scapula. Approximately 13.5 cm long, 4.5 cm wide and 2 cm thick.
